Holiday Vendor Setup Information

We are SUPER EXCITED about this year’s event at the Rolla Middle School.  Our Marketplace theme is lime green, red & whimsical!

The location of the middle school for your GPS is:

1111 Soest Road
Rolla, MO 65401

Here’s what you need to know:

Setup Times:

  • Friday — 6:30pm to about 8pm (~ish)… students will be there decorating the building for the event so we may even be there past 8pm.
  • Saturday — 6:30am; event opens 9am and closes at 3pm

What you need:

Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, electrical cords, etc. Once your vehicle is unloaded, we are requesting vendors to please move their cars to the gravel lot east of the building, near the track field.

What we provide:

Free Wi-Fi, coffee & electricity is available to all vendors. Electrical outlets are just throughout the building, so if you need electric, please pack an extension cord. If you requested electricity specifically, we try our best to put you right at an outlet, however, sometimes that just isn’t possible, and we have to run an extension cord to reach the outlet.

Students will be on-hand during setup, event, and teardown. They are here to assist you! There are a LOT of you coming to this show (I’m proud to say) and we may not have one student for every vendor at all times, but we should have several students available to assist.

You will receive a VENDOR PACKET that will include lunch menu order forms. You can fill that out at any time and give it with your payment to the students assigned to your area.  They will go to our concession stand and fill your order and deliver to your booth.  Students can also watch your booth if you need to take a quick restroom break.

We will start promoting our vendors on the Facebook page and letting it post about every hour or two. It is hoped that everyone will share the page and the event with their friends/family/etc.  If not, please do so if you have Facebook.

About The Event:

We have free pictures with Santa scheduled.

There will be a raffle booth with the items that have been donated by the vendors. All the proceeds from the raffle go directly in our SkillsUSA account to help those students offset their competition and travel fees.

We have a free gift-wrapping booth. Students and faculty will be wrapping gifts that people have purchased at the marketplace. Donations will be accepted, but certainly not required.

QUESTIONS:

If you have any questions between now and then, please call the RTI Office (573) 458-0150. You may also contact us through email or message us through Facebook (which is quickest because we have that app on our phones!).
