Dr. Lucas Chapman Named RTI/C Director
The Rolla 31 School district is proud to announce that Dr. Lucas Chapman was approved by the Board of Education to be the next Director of Rolla Technical Institute and Center, effective July 1, 2022. Dr. Chapman has been employed at Rolla 31 since 2010 as the Assistant Director at RTI/C. He began his career as an Agricultural Science Instructor and Future Farmers of America program leader in Crocker in 2004 and served as the Waynesville Agricultural Science Instructor from 2005-2010. Dr. Chapman is a 2000 graduate of Rolla High School and a product of the programs at RTI.
Dr. Chapman has a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from Missouri State University, a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Missouri State University, Educational Specialist Degree in School Administration from Missouri State University, and a Doctorate Degree (Ed. D.) from William Woods University in Secondary School Administration.
Dr. Chapman spends a great deal of time volunteering and connecting with members of our community. He currently serves on the Rolla Chamber of Commerce Board, the Rolla Saddle Club Board, and is an active member of Victor Baptist Church. Dr. Chapman is married to his high school sweetheart, Jade, and they have two children; Baylor, 11, and Dallie, 8.
