Dear RTI/C high school students and parents,

We may not be physically in school at RTI/C but we are continuing to provide educational opportunities for our students. We have provided links to lessons for all sending schools. All lessons include an on-line version and a version that can be printed out by the home school and provided to the students. Students may check google classroom, student email, and communication from teachers to find instructions on what they should be doing each week.

Regarding Student Grades-Due to the unusual circumstance that we are in, we are operating with a “do no harm” mindset toward students second semester grades. With that in mind, we will be using current student grades (as of 3/31/2020) to apply to student transcripts (should we not return before the end of the year). Students will be given the opportunity over the next few weeks (while school is closed) to improve their current grade. Work will be graded by teachers and applied to the current grade. Students that improve their grade will see the improved grade on their transcript. Students with missing work from 3rd quarter will be given the opportunity to “make-up” those missing assignments. If we return after April 30th the normal grading system will resume, unless your district continues to be out of session then we will still provide you distance instruction.

Students who are receiving dual college credits this semester will be working with their instructors to maintain those credits as well.

RTI/C teachers will be reaching out to students so students should check their student email accounts.  If students do not have access to email teachers will be making phone calls.  If you have questions, give us a call and leave a message or send us an email. We are all working from home and checking our phone messages and email frequently. We miss our students and look forward to seeing everyone back in school again soon.

Best Regards,
