The Practical Nursing program at Rolla Technical Institute/Center (RTI/C)
meets the state education requirements for a Practical Nursing license in
the state of Missouri.  Individual state boards of nursing may have different
education requirements.  RTI/C has not determined if the Practical Nursing
program meets the state education requirements in any other state, U.S.
territory, or the District of Columbia.  RTI/C graduates sit for the National
Council of State Boards of Nursing NCLEX-PN.  Students passing the
NCLEX-PN are eligible to work in Missouri and other states that are part of
the National Council on State Boards of Nursing’s Nurse Licensure
Compact (NLC).
