Radiologic Technology

Radiologic Technology is a 2-year course. Radiography is the art and science of creating medical images using x-rays. Radiographers provide vital information to physicians to diagnose fractures, illness, disease processes, and possible malignancies.

Program Accreditation:
The RTC Radiography Program went through the accreditation process which included a site visit in October 2016. The Radiography Program received 8 years accreditation, maximum length of accreditation given by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology.

The program articulates with East Central College, Drury University, and Missouri State University. Graduates of Rolla Technical Center's Radiologic Technology program sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a national certification examination. Those who pass the exam may sign the initials RT(R) following their name to indicate that they are a Registered Technologist (Radiography).
