The Surgical Technology program at Rolla Technical Institute/Center (RTI/C) meets the education requirements for employment in the state of Missouri.  RTI/C has not determined if the Surgical Technology program meets the education requirements for employment in any other state, U.S. territory, of the District of Columbia.  RTI/C graduates sit for the National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam.  The CST recognized nationally, but is not required for employment in Missouri.  Only Colorado, North Dakota, and Washington require the CST for employment.
