Automotive Technology is a 2-year program offering instruction in auto shop safety, tools and equipment, engine fundamentals, engine reconditioning, engine performance, chassis, front end, brake systems, Fuel Systems I and II, engine tune-up, electrical systems, repair orders, and cost estimates. This is a National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified program and is currently under review for Council On Occupational Education (COE) accreditation. East Central College offers dual credit for Automotive Technology students.
