Former Student Sara Tuschhoff Recognized
On November 6, 2024, Mr. Ed Sederburg and former student Sarah Tuschhoff attended the Speciality Equipment Marketing Association Show and Collision Repair Education Foundation Breakfast in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the event, Sarah delivered a presentation highlighting the pivotal role that Rolla Technical Institute and its collision repair program played in her educational journey. She emphasized how the grants received contributed significantly to the program's expansion and success. Her insightful words captivated several high-level professionals from the collision repair industry, including David Sherman, President of Fuji Spray Auto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Soon after her presentation, Sarah received a letter from Mr. Sherman. “I wanted to write to you personally to commend you on your maturity, eloquence, and commitment to the collision repair industry. Your passion for this field is not only inspiring but also a testament to the bright future you have ahead.”
Fuji Spray Auto is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of industry leaders, and they firmly believe that Sarah is among them. To demonstrate their support, they gifted her an MP-V8 Stealth Special Edition spray gun—a tool that symbolizes their commitment to quality and precision; values that resonate strongly with Sarah.
On December 10th, 2024 Mr. Sederburg held a small surprise ceremony to present Sarah the spray gun sent from President David Sherman along with his letter to her. Sarah was a 2024 Cuba High School graduate who attended Rolla Technical Institute's two-year Collision Repair program and served as the SkillsUSA State President for the 2023-2024 school year.
Sarah’s former teacher Mr. Sederburg says “Sarah was an outstanding student in the collision repair program; she was always willing to help anyone and everyone.”’
Congratulations, Sarah! Your achievements are a true inspiration, and we look forward to seeing how you continue to shine in the collision repair industry!
