The Culinary Arts program at RTI/C uses the National Restaurant Association's ProStart curriculum. Student's spend two years in the classroom mastering the fundamental management and culinary skills needed for success. Students are trained on industry-specific skills that can be used in all aspects of the restaurant and food service industry. Students also leave the program with employability skills; such as: leadership, accountability, teamwork, and responsibility that can take them to positions in all industries.

I am currently teaching Culinary Arts at RTI/C while continuing to run my own baking and catering business. I have held many positions in the educational field; including: English Educator, School Counselor, and Title I Educator. I have also worked as a travel agent and a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America.
