The placement test is waived for the September 2024 Class (per RTI/C administration).

Class:

Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 1730 to 2200 and one Saturday per month (optional as needed). The class runs for approximately 22 weeks.


All student prerequisites are:

  • Compliance with all portions of the application process.
  • As a student, you must have reliable online equipment and internet access for all internet-based learning.

  • Meet all minimum qualifications set by the RTI/C EMT program in compliance with the National Standards of the Department of Transportation.

  • Must pay any and all balances due to RTI/C, professional organizations, or any other party involved with the EMT course and must be 17 years of age prior to clinical site rotation. Students have the option to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians professional written certification exam.

  • Meet all minimum qualifications before professional practical skills testing set by the National Institute for Emergency Medical Training.

  • Meet all minimum qualifications before professional written certification exams set by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

  • Meet all minimum qualifications for licensure in the desired state, for the state of Missouri that is the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
